WE MEET MISS YUCCA VALLEY CANDIDATE SHAYLA WALDENBERG

With the Miss Yucca valley Pageant set for February 3, Z107.7 news is introducing you to the seven candidates for the title. Managing Editor Tami Roleff does the introductions…
Today we visit with Shayla Waldenberg, a junior at Yucca Valley High School and candidate for Miss Yucca Valley. Hi Shayla. Tell us, who is the prominent woman you’ve been mentoring with and what you have learned. “My prominent lady has been Vonda Villa. I’ve learned so much from her and I’ve learned to take everyday one by one, and you can’t let other people get to you. You are the reason for your own happiness. Also, don’t ever judge a book by its cover because it is the least likely one that will surprise you.” What have you learned from your experience with Miss Yucca Valley? “I’ve learned a lot about myself and how to take different ways into different approaches. Also, how to better myself, it showed me how to stand out and speak freely.” Any final words? “I have enjoyed so much, I’ve gained a lot of new friends and I’ve had so much fun. I have become a lot more outgoing and I just love the experience.”
