The event starts at 6:00 p.m. and tickets are available at the door. Z107.7 has been introducing you to the candidates; today we meet Rosie Lemm…
Today we visit with Rosie Lemm, a junior at Yucca Valley High School and candidate for Miss Yucca Valley. Who is the prominent woman you interviewed, what did you learn from her?
“My prominent woman is a very kind and sweet lady named Valerie Meyers. In the short time I’ve known her, she has taught me many things. Ms. Meyers is the first adult in my life that has confirmed that following my heart and achieving my own dreams is the best thing I can do. She also taught me that while achieving these dreams is great, it is the process of getting there that truly matters and is what makes that achievement so wonderful. Talking with Ms. Meyers also helped me see all of the little things in my life that I was taking for granted, but are now things that I am so thankful for and appreciate so much.”
What have you learned from your experience with Miss Yucca Valley?
“Throughout my experience with Miss Yucca Valley I have learned a lot about not only myself, but also about the lives of others. The most important thing I have learned is that I was the only thing that ever held me back throughout my life. I’ve learned that if I believe I can and work as hard as I can I will be able to achieve anything I can think of.”
