Make plans to see this year’s Miss Yucca Valley scholarship pageant, scheduled for Saturday, February 3, at 6 p.m. at the Joshua Springs Thunderdome. Today Reporter Andrew Dieleman introduces us to contestant Randee Zeller…
Today we visit with Randee Zeller, a junior at Yucca Valley High School and candidate for Miss Yucca Valley. Hi Randee. Tell us, who is the prominent woman you’ve been mentoring with and what you have learned?
“The prominent woman that I interviewed was Michelle Zaccaria. In the interview, she taught me that no matter what challenges life throws at me, I
have to buckle down and keep going. She told me ‘look on the bright side of everything, and nothing is impossible.’ She has greatly inspired me.”
What have you learned from your experience with Miss Yucca Valley?
“So far, Miss Yucca Valley has taught me how to better connect with myself, and others, on a personal level. This experience is teaching me how to be more professional and is teaching me skills that I will be able to use later on in life.”
Any final words?
“I want to wish all the girls in the pageant good luck and I want to say thank you to the Rotary Club for giving me this great opportunity.”
Thank you Randee.
