Today we are talking with Allessa Luckino. Allesa, tell us about yourself.
“My name is Allessa Luckino, I go to Yucca Valley High School and I play volleyball.”
Who is the prominent woman you interviewed, and what did you learn from her?
“My prominent woman is Marge Doyle. From interviewing her I learned about the obstacles she faced in life and when dealing with these she continued to have a positive attitude and outlook when dealing with the situation. She also inspires me to be active and make a difference in our community as she did especially with affairs involving the hospital.”
What have you learned from your experience with Miss Yucca Valley?
“What I have learned from Miss Yucca is that I have a voice and I can make a change in my community. It also has helped me gain confidence in who I am as a person. I would encourage everyone to come to the pageant and see the growth we have made and how much of an impact this experience has made on our lives.”
