According to the latest information, the State of California is still just under the National Covid-19 Vaccination rate, the figures are based on having at least one shot as of June 17. The national rate is 62% of the population vaccinated and California is at 59.4%. Our County of San Bernardino has 49.8%. Here in the Morongo Basin, the top community for Vaccination is Pioneertown with a 92.5%. The worst is 29 Palms at only 22.5%, that does not include the Marine Base, which, based on statewide military figures, is at 49%. Joshua Tree has 39.8%, Landers at 27.6%, Morongo Valley 41.1%, and Yucca Valley at 49.7%.
