WATER PLAY FOR KIDS IN YUCCA VALLEY AND TWENTYNINE PALMS TOMORROW

For kids 10 and under who like to play in the slip-n-slide, splash in a wading pool and water playland, and run in the sprinklers – and what kid doesn’t? — the Town of Yucca Valley Recreation Department has all the makings for great times this summer with the H-2-OH! program. The north lawn of the Community Center will be transformed into a free, mini water park alternating Fridays beginning this Friday, June 30, and again on July 14 and 28 from 10 a.m. to noon. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This program is provided free to the public.

Come to the Luckie Park pool and play on an inflatable obstacle course. The obstacle course will be open every Friday evening this summer from 6 to 8 p.m., beginning June 30, except for July 7. There will no open swim during this time, although the baby pool will be open. Admission is $3 and 2017 swim passes can be used. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Appropriate swim attire only: no belts, buttons, buckles, or zippers, although lifejackets are allowed. Lifeguards will be on duty. For more information call 760-367-5777.
