Two water machines were vandalized and coins stolen in Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms over the weekend. The store managers at the Dollar General in Twentynine Palms and the “new” Stater Brothers in Yucca Valley reported the thefts to Sheriff’s deputies Sunday. According to Sheriff’s reports, the thieves used an electric saw to cut a hole in the side of Glacier water machines to get to the coin box, and stole the coins that were inside.
