If you’re concerned about the future of water here and you’re ready to think outside the box when it comes to water conservation, check out Transition Joshua Tree’s Water Harvesting in Arid Lands, a one-day workshop set for next Saturday, March 19, in Landers. Participants will learn the basics of harvesting rainwater and why we all need to do it, plus tour a variety of water harvesting earthwork systems, and get hands-on experience building simple water harvesting earthwork, and enjoy an included vegetarian lunch.
