If you wonder about the safety of your tap water, bring a cup from home to this Sunday’s Water Education Day in Joshua Tree. Reporter Mike Lipsitz says the test is free and the results are instant. Here he is now with all you need to know…
Water Education Day is this Sunday, March 31, at the Joshua Basin Water District. Now in its sixth year, Water Education Day brings together the resources of every water-related interest in the area for an afternoon on native plants with tips, tricks and a seedling for sale. There are demonstrations and exhibits on landscaping, invasive weeds, irrigation, septic systems, and just about any other topic related to protecting our most valuable natural resource. Water Education Day is free. It all starts at 1 p.m. and continues until 4 p.m. at the Joshua Basin Water District offices and demonstration garden at Park Boulevard and Chollita Road in Joshua Tree.
