A Yucca Valley Walmart employee, who lives in Desert Hot Springs, was arrested Wednesday, after she allegedly confessed to stealing $6000 in cash from the super store. Deputies were called to Walmart about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday by an employee who said that Alicia Guzman, 23, had been caught stealing and allegedly admitted it to management. Guzman also allegedly admitted to the deputy to stealing the cash, and she had cash in her pocket that she said she had stolen from Walmart over the past few days. Alicia Guzman was arrested for investigation of grand theft, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $50,000.
The Alicia Guzman who was arrested for grand theft is different from Alicia Marybel Guzman who lives in Yucca Valley and is 21 years old.
