San Bernardino County has now opened several walk-up testing sites open Monday through Friday by appointment only. Reporter Heather Clisby has the details on the local testing site…
Addressing a high demand, San Bernardino County is providing a number of stationery COVID-19 testing sites. Though symptoms are not required, advance appointments are.
Locally, testing will be conducted in Joshua Tree at the Bell Center, Copper Mountain College, 6162 Rotary Way, June 1 through 5, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All appointments and more info can be found on the County’s COVID-19 site, sbcovid19.com.
Including Joshua Tree, the County will offer testing to 10 locations county-wide. Both diagnostic and serology antibody testing will be conducted at the walk-up locations.
Residents arriving for their tests are advised to stay in their car until staff instructs them to enter the building. The tests will be self-administered under the watchful care of a nurse. Face masks are required.
