Mothers who have suffered the loss of a child are invited to attend a Walk to Remember, sponsored by Umbrella Ministries, to honor their loved ones. The walk is set for Saturday, February 16, starting at 8 a.m. at the Palm Desert Civic Center Park amphitheater. The walk is free to attend. There will be a short program, followed by a release of doves, and a banner on which to place a heart with your loved one’s name.
