Walk-in signups will be taken this afternoon for the inaugural Theatre 29 Acting workshops. Three different workshops are available for different age groups. All workshops include four classes. Classes are held Mondays— starting today—through April 22, with the teens’ class (“Bringing All of You to the Ensemble”) from 2:30 to 4 p.m., elementary kids (“After School Theatre Games”) from 4 to 5 p.m., and adults (“Acting Technique”) from 5 to 6 p.m. Workshop fees for all four classes are $45 for elementary students, $60 for teens and $75 for adults.
Director/actor/writer/teacher Denis McCourt is an Equity and SAG member with both a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater and a Master of Fine Arts in acting. He’s currently teaching theater at the McCallum Theater.
