Wal-Mart is now accepting applications for 80 new positions at its Super Wal-Mart store in Yucca Valley. According to Wal-Mart spokeswoman Rachel Wall, the store will be hiring both full- and part-time employees, and she encouraged both those with and without retail experience to apply. Residents interested in working at the Super Wal-Mart can fill out an application at one of the three hiring kiosks inside the current store, 57980 29 Palms Highway, or they can fill out an application online at a link in this story at kcdzfm.com. Wall said the majority of new associates will begin work in May to help prepare the store for its grand re-opening about six to eight weeks later. The new Super Wal-Mart is located at 58501 Twentynine Palms Highway, next to Home Depot.
