The Community Action Partnership is recruiting volunteers to help working families prepare their 2016 taxes. Free training—either online or in person—will be provided. Volunteers may earn volunteer service hours; a minimum of a 20-hour commitment of volunteer time during tax season, starting in January, is required. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, call Tenika Hill at 909-723-1571, email [email protected], or visit www.capsbc.org/VITA.
