The construction of the 2,200-square-foot multipurpose building is the latest addition to the Old Schoolhouse Museum. Workers with the Clark Construction Desert Dirt Works have been working diligently since April 7 to prepare for the foundation and framing. When completed, the building will house a 1,500-square-foot multipurpose room, a catering kitchen, restrooms and storage spaces. The historical society has a limited expansion fund, so any volunteers willing to help with the project are welcomed.
