Volunteers are needed Saturday, December 1, to help Friends of the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve rake and sweep fall leaves from the raised boardwalks to keep it visitor friendly and handicap accessible. If you can help, meet at the preserve’s entrance kiosk at 9 a.m. Volunteers will work until about 11:30 a.m. The Big Morongo Canyon Preserve is located at 11055 East Drive in Morongo Valley.
