The volunteer orientation, organized by the Bureau of Land Management, aims to help new volunteers learn about the many volunteer opportunities at the preserve. Learn to protect wildlife and wildlands, and receive education on the uniqueness and beauty of the preserve. The orientation will be held on Saturday, September 8 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the preserve nature center, 11055 East Drive in Morongo Valley.
