VINYL RECORD ART SHOW OPENS AT LA MATADORA

La Matadora Gallery in Joshua Tree is hosting an opening reception tonight (December 11) for the new group show featuring a number of high desert artists. More than 25 artists were invited to create art on or utilizing vinyl records, which will be on display and for sale at the gallery. The show will run until January 2. The gallery, located at 61857 Hwy 62, hosts a reception tonight, featuring DJ Uncle Abe and record shaped-cookies by food artist  Matt Blansett,  which begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m.
