A Victorville man was arrested in Yucca Valley early Saturday morning, March 24, after a deputy found drugs in his vehicle. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy made a traffic stop on a car shortly before 2 a.m. near Balsa Avenue and 29 Palms Highway. Inside the car was Ismael Barbosa, 25, who has multiple felony convictions. During a search of the vehicle, the deputy found methamphetamine. Barbosa was arrested on suspicion of transporting speed for sale and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with bail set at $25,000 bail.
