The Joshua Tree Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #7264 will hold its fourth annual poker run Saturday, October 13. The ride is open to all riders and vehicles. Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the ride leaves at 10. The cost is $25 per person, or $30 per couple, and $5 for an extra hand. The event will include live music and a barbecue lunch starting at noon. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third-best hands, as well as the worst hand. Proceeds will help Veterans Helping Veterans, and active-duty military and their families. For more information, call 760-366-2717.
