Home to the largest Marine Corps base in the United States, Twentynine Palms is hosting a Community Veterans Tribute on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11. Sponsored by the Mojave Vipers, a free breakfast for veterans and first responders will be offered from 8-10 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 73002 El Paseo Drive. Then, the party moves to Veterans Park, next to City Hall, at 6136 Adobe Road. A tribute ceremony will take place at 11 am, followed by a BBQ hot dog lunch, with the festivities wrapping up at 1 pm.
