Home to the largest Marine Corps base in the United States, Twentynine Palms is hosting a community Veterans tribute on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11.
Sponsored by the Mojave Vipers, a free breakfast for veterans and first responders will be offered from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 73002 El Paseo Drive.
Then the party moves to Veterans Park, next to City Hall, at 6136 Adobe Road.
A tribute ceremony will take place at 11 a.m., followed by a BBQ hot dog lunch, with the festivities wrapping up at 1 p.m.
