The Yucca Valley Senior Center would like to extend recognition to our local veterans by hosting an appreciation breakfast for our Veterans and their plus one tomorrow morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The breakfast is meant to honor Armed Forces veterans as well as those still serving. The Yucca Valley Senior Center is located at 57088 Twentynine Palms Highway.
Military veterans will be honored tomorrow afternoon in Twentynine Palms at the City’s Veteran’s Day event.
The ceremony, sponsored by Navy Federal Credit Union, will feature guest speakers from the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, City of Twentynine Palms, and local veterans.
The National Anthem will be performed by Twentynine Palms High School teacher Robin Wilson, and food will be provided by local veteran-owned restaurant Grnd Sqrl.
The event starts at 2 p.m. at the Twentynine Palms Community Center, located at 6547 Freedom Way.
