VEHICLES VANDALIZED IN YUCCA VALLEY AND TWENTYNINE PALMS

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a case of vandalism in which the suspects scratched a swastika on a car. According to a Sheriff’s report, the vandalism was reported about 11 a.m. Monday morning in the 58300 block of Carlyle Drive in Yucca Valley. The vandals threw eggs at the vehicle, stole musical instruments from inside the vehicle, and then keyed the swastika emblem on the rear driver’s side door. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.

At least four vehicles were vandalized in Twentynine Palms last week. According to Sheriff’s reports, the owners of a white Ford F-150 pick up truck in the 6600 block of Manzanita Avenue, and another vehicle in the 6500 block of El Sol Avenue noticed that red spray paint had been sprayed on the sides of their vehicles. In addition, fuel lines were cut on two U-Haul trucks sometime over the weekend in the 4900 block of Adobe Road. And five windows of a school van for Bright Futures Academy, in the 5400 block of Luckie Avenue, were smashed with rocks and bricks. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
