The Yucca Valley High School Lady Trojan basketball team overcame a sluggish start to claim a 64-42 Desert Valley League win over Banning Tuesday night in Trojan Gym. With the win, the Lady Trojans moved their league record to 6-3, and overall record to 12-8.
Coach Jess Geeson said senior Angie Reutgen finished with a game-high 20 points. Sophomore Sara Mills pumped in 18 points while dishing out eight assists. Freshman Maliah Rodriguez, along with sophomores Meagan Lowe and Loryn Brimhall, added six points each. Brimhall also pulled down seven rebounds.
