Shortly before 7:30 p.m., firefighters and Sheriff’s deputies were called to the school because vandals broke the front windows to two classrooms. While inside the classrooms, the vandals broke six fire boxes and emptied the fire extinguishers inside the classrooms, broke the computer monitors, threw paint on the walls, electronics, books, and carpeting. Damage to the two classrooms is estimated at about $10,000. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
