The United States Department of Agriculture will provide assistance to families facing food insecurity with a commodities distribution at three locations around the Morongo Basin tomorrow (March 21.) The USDA will distribute free food to those in need from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Bellfield Hall in Landers, located at 58380 Reche Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Training With Pay Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Yucca Valley, located at 59077 Yucca Trail, and from 10 a.m. to noon at the Joshua Tree Community Center in Joshua Tree, located at 6171 Sunburst Ave. No advance registration is required to receive food.
