UPDATING PERMITS, COMPLIANCE FEES FOR SHORT-TERM RENTALS, AND THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM APPROVED AT THE YUCCA VALLEY TOWN COUNCIL MEETING

At the start of the meeting, the Council introduced two new employees, Jimi Yi, Kennel Tech, and Bradie Reyna, skilled maintenance worker. The council members then unanimously approved the consent agenda except for item 7, referring to short-term rentals. Both Councilmembers Merl Abel and Jeff Doz accused themselves. Next, the members reviewed staff annual reports on the Street and Drainage and Landscape and Lighting Assessment Districts. They also approved the levy of assessments and special taxes for both the Assessment Districts and the Community Facilities District for the following year.
