Joshua Tree National Park staff is continuing to clean up and make repairs to roads in areas that were closed by the heavy rains last week. Pinto Basin Road is now open. Cottonwood Visitor Center and Cottonwood Campground loop A have been reopened, but can only be accessed from the west or north entrances of the park. All dirt roads in the northern section of the park are open with the exception of Keys Ranch Road. Areas that are still closed include loop B of Cottonwood Campground, the southern park entrance of off the I-10 freeway, Black Eagle Mine Road, Old Dale Road, and the Cottonwood Oasis parking lot and trail.
