Projects in Yucca Valley are moving in and existing businesses are switching locations so much you almost need a score card to keep up. Managing Editor Tami Roleff checks the score…
Several new businesses plan to open soon, or current businesses plan to expand, in Yucca Valley. As reported earlier, Tractor Supply Company has submitted plans for tenant improvements for 24,000 square feet in the old Walmart building. Tenant improvement plans have been submitted for a wine tasting room in Old Town, next to ArTfx and Furnishings, in an establishment formerly occupied by a massage parlor. The wine tasting room owners are working on getting ABC and county approvals. Desert Oasis Health Care plans to move into the old Sears building, next to Napa Auto Parts. And the Town’s new animal shelter is nearing completion. The stucco is ready for paint on the two kennel buildings, and the interior of the administration building has been painted. Curb and gutters were poured last week at the shelter.
