Deputies searched the desert and neighborhoods on foot, from patrol vehicles, and from a helicopter for the suspect. A deputy patrolling through the streets saw a man matching the description and pursued him behind a home in the 6400 block of Goleta. About 9:30, deputies converged on the scene and took the suspect into custody at gun point. Yost said another RV, this one in the Walmart parking lot, is possibly connected to the homicide, perhaps belonging to the suspect.
