Unity Home, which helps victims of domestic violence, needs to replace its aging yellow moving truck. Unity Home’s thrift store is holding a sale in its back parking lot every Friday and Saturday in January, starting today (January 10) through February 1. There will be bargains galore in housewares and small appliances, crutches and wheelchairs and various medical items, sports equipment, artwork, and of course, clothing. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Unity Home Thrift Store is located at 61605 29 Palms Highway in downtown Joshua Tree.
