Even with the days starting to warm, the nights are still cold. The Twentynine Palms United Methodist Church has coats and warm clothing ready for giving away to anyone who is in need of them. They are open each Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon. There is a limited stock of hats, gloves, scarfs, socks, shoes, slippers, and blankets, also. The church will also continue to accept donations of new or clean, gently used winter clothes. For more information, contact the church at 760-367-7338.
