Quick work by Twentynine Palms firefighters saved a home early Monday morning. Firefighters were called to a home in the 75000 block of Valle Vista at 6 a.m., where they found a room and contents burning due to unattended candles. They were able to put out the flames in about 7 minutes, and saved the rest of the home.
