Join Umbrella Ministries, a support group for parents who have lost a child, for the Journey of the Heart “Walk To Remember” honoring our loved ones. “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.” The event will be Saturday, February 16, at the Palm Desert Civic Center Park located at Fred Waring and San Pablo Avenue. The walk is free to the public starting at 8 a.m. at the Amphitheater with a short program and dove release. There will be a banner to place a heart with your loved one’s name.
