TWO YUCCA VALLEY MEN ARRESTED FOR RESISTING ARREST

Two Yucca Valley men were arrested late Tuesday night after one fled from a pedestrian check. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy attempted to stop Tyler Albert, 24, near Avalon Avenue and Paxton Road just before 10 p.m. Albert fled on foot to a vacant residence on Nelson Avenue. When deputies arrived at the home, he refused to open the door and so deputies forced entrance into the house. Inside with Albert was Travis Sharp, 28. A records check found that Albert had an arrest warrant for a previous drug charge, and was absconding from parole. Tyler Albert was arrested for investigation of resisting arrest, on his warrant, and for violating his parole. Travis Sharp was arrested for a felony drug warrant. They were both booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and are being held without bail.
