TWO TWENTYNINE PALMS RESIDENTS ACCUSED OF ASSAULT AND BURGLARY

Two Twentynine Palms residents were arrested Monday, accused of assault and burglary. Deputies were called to the 6500 block of Oasis Avenue in Twentynine Palms just after 3 p.m. Monday. Deputies said that Theresa Olshefsky, 49, pushed her way into the victim’s house through the front door and started punching the woman in the face and pulling her hair. Olshefsky then allegedly threw her into a heater in the living room. Tyler Lucero, 19, also came in and punched a man in the face about six times. After an investigation, Theresa Olshefsky was arrested on suspicion of assault causing great bodily injury and burglary. Theresa Olshefsky was booked into Morongo Basin Jail with her bail set at $50,000. Tyler Lucero was arrested on suspicion of assault, cited and released.
