TWO TWENTYNINE PALMS MEN ARRESTED AFTER BURGLARIES SATURDAY

Two Twentynine Palms men were arrested early Saturday morning, suspected of multiple burglaries in the city Friday. According to a Sheriff’s report, residents in the 6600 block of Palo Verde Avenue, 7400 block of Cactus Drive, 6000 block of Mariposa Avenue, 6600 block of National Park Drive, 6300 block of Cholla, and at Luckie Park, all reported burglaries and attempted burglaries Friday night-Saturday morning. Shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday, two men, later identified as Dallas Moore, 20, and John Schutte, 19, were seen trying to break into a vehicle on Mariposa Avenue, and then fled from the witness. Deputies located Moore and Schutte, and some of the property that had been reported stolen, near Sunnyslope Drive and Baileya and arrested them. Dallas Moore and John Schutte were booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for burglary and are being held without bail for violating their parole. During the course of the investigation, deputies went to a home in the 6000 block of Daisy Avenue where they arrested Bobby Burcham,25, on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bobby Burcham was cited and released.
