Deputies recovered two stolen vehicles in Yucca Valley early Sunday morning. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy was driving eastbound on Highway 62 near Camino del Cielo about 5:10 a.m. when he saw a stolen truck drive westbound on the highway. The deputy turned to follow the stolen truck and the driver accelerated and turned onto Pinon Drive. Deputies found the stolen truck abandoned; the suspect had fled on foot. Despite an intensive area check, deputies were unable to locate the suspect. The stolen truck was released to its owner at the scene. In the bed of the truck was a Suzuki motorcycle which had also been reported stolen. The motorcycle was also returned to its owner.
