Two men were stabbed and one arrested after what Sheriff’s investigators described as a brawl in the parking lot of the Twentynine Palms Denny’s restaurant early Saturday morning. Sergeant Richard Hutchens said deputies responded to reports of a fight and stabbing at 3:11 a.m. to find a Marine, who has not been identified, with stab wounds to his chest. Witnesses said the suspect had fled on a motorcycle. Deputies pursued two motorcycles, one which fled while the other pulled over to reveal another victim with another stab wound. A short time later a pick-up truck was seen leaving the area and was pulled over to reveal the suspect trying to flee. After investigation, Joseph Farhat, 23, of Twentynine Palms, was arrested for investigation of attempted murder. Joseph Farhat was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with bail set at $1 million.
