Two people were injured in a traffic collision in Twentynine Palms Friday morning (April 9). Around 8:30 a.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Two Mile Road and Aztec Avenue in Twentynine Palms for a report of a traffic collision involving two vehicles. According to the report, a Nissan Sentra travelling east on Two Mile Road broadsided a Honda Accord making a left turn onto Two Mile Road from Aztec Avenue. Both drivers were transported to the Hi-Desert Medical Center with minor injuries. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
