Two people were arrested Wednesday after they were found trespassing in an empty home. Sheriff’s deputies were called to 7100 block of Saddleback Road in Joshua Tree about 6:30 a.m. by neighbors who said there were two people inside a home where they didn’t belong. Deputies found Toni Cagle, 33, of Joshua Tree, and a 29-year-old Desert Hot Springs man inside the home along with ammunition. Cagle is a convicted felon and is prohibited from being in possession of ammunition. Cagle, who has multiple warrants for her arrest, was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of ammunition, and for her warrants, booked into West Valley Detention Center, with her bail set at $35,000. Her companion was arrested for investigation of trespassing, cited and released.
