Deputies arrested two more people Wednesday at a Yucca Valley house that was the location of a drug raid last week where three people were arrested on various drug-related charges. According to a sheriff’s report, deputies returned to the home in the 7400 block of Joshua View about 10:30 a.m. There they found Dawn Demaray, 22, and Les Alkana, 25, both of Yucca Valley, who were under the influence of heroin. Alkana was also in possession of drug paraphernalia. Alkana had been arrested last Thursday, July 2, for investigation of burglary, driving under the influence, and hit-and-run, and was released on bail Saturday. Les Alkana was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of selling hypodermic needles, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, and released later that afternoon. Dawn Demaray was arrested for investigation of being under the influence of a controlled substance, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, and released later that afternoon. The owner of the home where the arrests took place, Allen Weston, 54, who had been arrested July 2 on suspicion of running a drug house, had been released Saturday; an additional case of running a drug house will be sent to the District Attorney for consideration.
