A man was injured in a crash on the Morongo Grade Sunday morning. Officials with the Morongo Valley Fire Department said they were called to the scene of the single-vehicle crash just east of Indian Canyon and Highway 62 at 8:45 a.m. The driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.
And another man was injured this morning when his Toyota pick-up truck crashed into a power pole in Yucca Valley. Yucca Valley firefighters were called to the 57500 block of Highway 62 at 6:37 a.m. The unidentified driver who was described as being in an “altered state,” was taken to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs.
