Two men were arrested Sunday night, accused of threatening to kill a boy during a fight. According to Sheriff’s Detective Dan Hanke, deputies were called to the 57800 block of Campanula Street in Yucca Valley just before 7 p.m. The juvenile told deputies that two men, Aaron Erichson, 25, of Yucca Valley, and Dakota Carson, 27, of Joshua Tree, were involved in a fight. The boy tried to break up the fight, at which time Erichson and Carson turned on him, punching him, choking him, and threatening to kill him. Aaron Erichson and Dakota Carson were both arrested for child abuse and making criminal threats and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with their bail set at $150,000 each. They pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday, and Carson was released on a bail bond Wednesday.
