The Twentynine Palms Ministerial Association will hold three assemblies for the National Day of Prayer, set for Thursday, May 7. Prayer ceremonies will be held at 7 a.m. and noon at the flagpole in Veterans Park, and at 6:30 p.m. at the Gospel Fellowship Christian Center Church, 5898 Adobe Road, all in Twentynine Palms. The theme this year is “Lord, Hear Our Cry.” Prayers will be said for government, military, media, business, education, church, and family. The public is invited to attend.
