Two Landers residents were arrested in Yucca Valley last week, following a traffic stop in Yucca Valley. Deputies stopped the vehicle on Highway 62 near Grand Avenue about 9:39 a.m. Deputies determined the driver, Rory Karnauskas, 29, had a warrant for violating Post Release Community Supervision; the passenger, Felicia Mungarro, was on PRCS. Deputies performed a field sobriety test on both Karnauskas and Mungarro and determined they were both under the influence of a drug. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found inside the vehicle. Rory Karnauskas and Felicia Mungarro were arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs and for violating PRCS, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and were held without bail.
