The Partners in Education program through California State University San Bernardino Athletics honors middle-school students from San Bernardino County. La Contenta Middle School eighth-grade students Jadon Pierce and Emma Fulkerson received Championship Performance recognition for their involvement in the program. The students were presented with Certificates of Recognition by CSUSB President Dr. Tomás Morales, San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools Ted Alejandre, and CSUSB Athletic Director Shawn Farrell during half-time of a recent university basketball game.
