Two people were killed in a Johnson Valley crash early Saturday morning. According to the County Coroner, Saturday, at 1:31 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received a 911 call regarding a two-vehicle collision on State Route 247 in Johnson Valley. Authorities responded to the scene and pronounced the driver and passenger of one of the vehicles dead at the scene. They are a 22-year-old male and a 23-year-old female , both from Phelan. When next of kin has been notified their names will be released. The CHP is still investigating the collision.
